About Florus Education Consultancy
Our work includes a wide range of education services which are summarised into the following 4 areas:
Teaching and Learning Materials and Programmes;
Education for Sustainable Development;
Painting the World by Numbers.
Each of these areas features a creative approach inspired by the thousands of teachers and children with whom we have worked. Our projects, training programmes and curriculum materials are never ‘cut and paste’; they are bespoke materials and programmes of support designed to meet the specific needs and aspirations of the people and organisations we work for.
We are proud of the many connections we have made between schools, organisations and educators. We recognise and celebrate the value of shared expertise, research and innovation. Our work is underpinned by a belief that all children are entitled to a quality education where an equitable approach ultimately leads to an equality of opportunity.
We believe that a context specific, competency-based approach to teaching and learning empowers children and young people to be the best that they can be. This means that when the development of knowledge and understanding is complemented by the development of skills and attitudes in increasingly complex contexts, our young citizens have all that they need to thrive in a rapidly changing world.
Knowledge and Understanding
We support the Global Goals for education which aim to:
“Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.”
